The Center for Healing and Imagery provides weekend and day-long workshops that focus on personal change,
the mind-body connection, and healing.
Imagery is a powerful tool for relaxation and self-soothing; getting to know yourself, including hidden parts
of the self; discovering internal resources; resolving conflicts; stimulating change; and enhancing
performance. Since imagery is a language through which mind and body communicate, it is a natural tool
for understanding the psychological factors contributing to physical illness and for promoting physical
healing. Imagery offers a fanciful, playful and creative process that opens up new possibilities.
Imagery can help people:
Manage stress and anxiety
Teach self-soothing and relaxation
Support physical healing
Help with symptom relief for chronic illness and chemotherapy
