When Talk Therapy is Not Enough
This weekend training picks up where Part One leaves off, exploring in greater depth the use of
Somatic Imagery in ongoing psychotherapeutic work. Participants learn how to develop and optimize
the effectiveness of the Somatic Imagery process over time.
Learning outcomes include basic concepts and facilitation techniques for optimizing the effectiveness
of Somatic Imagery in clinical practice for a broad range of therapeutic challenges, including:
- for exploration and diagnosis;
- to shift frozen historical dynamics;
- to resolve trauma and conflict;
- to break through therapeutic impasses.
Additional time will be set aside for participants to practice facilitation skills, to discuss their own cases, and to explore other topics of particular relevance.
This training is open to anyone who has taken previous training in Somatic Imagery or with the Imagery Training Institute.
